Facilities storing billions of gallons of toxic waste threaten America’s rivers and millions of people who live near them, according to a new report from the Environment New Mexico Research & Policy Center, NMPIRG Education Fund and the Frontier Group.
On Wednesday, UNM faculty, student government representatives, and student group leaders joined Environment New Mexico, the statewide citizen-based environmental advocacy organization, to celebrate a milestone of on-campus support for making UNM the next campus to commit to going 100 percent renewable by 2050.
Albuquerque, NM – On Wednesday, the Associated Students of the University of New Mexico (ASUNM) Senate passed a resolution in support of UNM transitioning to 100 percent renewable energy by 2050. The resolution passed unanimously by all in attendance.
